National Smile Month

National Smile Month runs from 13th May to 13th June

Help your child keep a healthy smile by following some of our top tips:

  • Brush teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
  • The most important time to brush teeth is last thing at night before bed
  • A small smear of toothpaste is all that is needed
  • Spit out excess toothpaste – don’t rinse out after brushing
  • To help protect teeth against decay, sugary foods and drinks should only be taken at meal times
  • Make sure snacks or drinks taken between meals are sugar free
  • Visit the dentist at least once a year for a check-up (If you need information on the local dentists please phone the office on 44613630)
